What is the LGAMN?

The LGAMN is a network which is open to local government managers with responsibility for their Application Support / DevOps functions.

Our aim is to connect members so we can learn faster, share ideas and ask the ‘stupid’ questions that would otherwise hold us back. Application Management can be a lonely place until we realise that every local authority is doing this stuff and there’s a mine of useful information out there.

Access to the LGAMN is via a dedicated Teams platform kindly hosted by Rugby Borough Council. Membership is free.

The LGAMN was originally founded in 2019 by Tass Smith and Iftaz Hussain.

It was relaunched in 2022 as one of Warwick District Council’s Local Digital Declaration commitments.

We currently have over 190 members representing 120 councils. View our current member councils.
